Welcome to episode 3!
All posts and reviews of wine are broken down in plain language for any new wine drinker to understand. This wine community is open to anyone over 21 years old, as well as anybody who wants to explore the world of wine.
All reviews and opinions are solely my own and do not reflect any other organization.
I wholeheartedly believe we can break this notion that wine is for only "certain people".
You know the people I'm talking about; "wine snobs", "bougie", "high class"- the list can go on and on. We are not here to label or make fun of others; but rather, to open the unique world of wine to everyone.
I believe Wine Culture can be for anyone who likes wine - your background, lifestyle, and how much you make does not matter here- all are welcome!
So let's get started! Come sip with me!
Red Electra Moscato, Year 2021

Today we will discuss this wine's overall profile, which includes the following:
This wine's Style, Varietal, and Type
This wine's smell and taste Profile
& Where to buy this wine so you can taste it yourself.
This is the wine that started it all- my wine journey that is. This was the first wine I tried and was able to enjoy since it was absolutely sweet and delicious. Blame my American palate for my love of sweet things; however, no matter how "refined" my palate becomes, I still have love for this sweet juicy wine. This brings me back so many memories of sippin' with my family.
The style of the wine is a dessert wine, the varietal is Moscato, and the type of the wine is red wine. This wine uses two grape varietals- yellow muscat grapes and black muscat grapes. This is where the wine gets its beautiful translucent red-crimson color.

This wine has a total of 5.5 percent alcohol per volume. And here's a secret!
You can throw this whole bottle of wine in a zip lock bag, place it in the freezer for a few hours and the wine will transform into a wine slushy!
I learned this tip from Quady Winery themselves when I visited their tasting room in Madera, California.
This is the only wine, I have found to make a perfect slushy without any additives, such as a "slushy mix". No blender or other mixes are needed.
It works on its own and it is delicious!
Upon smelling the wine, I could not smell too many profiles. That might be because this wine was served chilled and resulted in not being too aromatic. The first profile I got was a Welches Grape Juice smell; very sweet. I also get hints of cherries and raspberries.
Now let's give this wine a taste.
I taste sweetness similar to a grape Kool-Aid Jammer, and to imagine this as a sweet slushy! Man, is it delicious! If you're just starting your wine journey, this is a great wine to assist in refining your palate. I say this because the sweetness does not overwhelm the American palate and sweet drinks bring familiarity to your taste buds. There is some judgment in the wine community with those who prefer sweet wines, but I say screw'em. Your palate will develop to explore more bold wines as you go along this journey. For now, sit back, take a break, and enjoy this sweet glass of wine.
I highly recommend this wine to all my friends! If you are looking to buy a bottle, you can find it online or if you live in the area of a Rite-Aid, Save Mart, Target, Bev-Mo, or other local liquor stores near you. This bottle is approximately $15. This qualifies under my Sippin' on a Budget Category and makes a great wine to share with others.
If you plan to visit Quady's Winery and Tasting Room the address is 13181 Road 24, Madera, California. You will not be disappointed!
I hope you do try this wine!

Great blog! Love the Kool-Aid reference for how it tastes for you, I would like to try this wine, I have tried the orange moscato and loved it, this one will be on my "to do list", thanks for sharing!
Also, it is so awesome that Quady is a winery in your own back yard! I tried this wine in my early 20's and always wondered where it was located, I got to make it a point to get out there!
